Publication Ethics

The Editorial Board of the scholarly journal adheres to the principles of academic integrity, transparency of the research process, and established ethical standards in scholarly publishing. The journal’s policy is based on the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) as well as widely recognized international best practices in academic publishing.

The journal ensures compliance with ethical standards by all participants in the editorial and publishing process, including authors, reviewers, and editors.

General Principles

Upholding academic integrity as the foundation of scholarly activity; ensuring the originality of research.
Preventing all forms of academic misconduct.
Ensuring transparency in the peer review and decision-making processes.
Guaranteeing fairness and equality in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts.

Responsibilities of Authors

By submitting a manuscript to the journal, authors confirm that:

  • the submitted work is original and has not been previously published or submitted to another journal;
  • all sources are properly cited and copyright requirements are respected;
  • all co-authors have made a significant contribution to the research;
  • the manuscript is free from plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data;
  • all sources of funding (if applicable) are disclosed;
  • any potential conflicts of interest are clearly declared.

The following are considered unacceptable:

  • plagiarism in any form;
  • self-plagiarism without proper citation;
  • citation manipulation;
  • submission of inaccurate or falsified data.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

  • provide objective, impartial, and well-reasoned evaluations;
  • maintain confidentiality regarding the content of manuscripts;
  • inform the Editorial Office of any potential conflicts of interest;
  • identify possible cases of plagiarism or ethical misconduct;
  • adhere to the established review deadlines.

Reviewers must not use unpublished materials in their own research without the explicit consent of the authors.

Responsibilities of the Editorial Board

The Editorial Board:

  • ensures a fair and transparent manuscript selection process;
  • makes publication decisions solely on the basis of the scholarly merit of the submission;
  • guarantees the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts;
  • prevents any form of discrimination;
  • responds to all cases of academic misconduct;
  • publishes corrections, clarifications, or retractions when necessary.

Handling Ethical Violations

In cases of detected violations, the Editorial Board acts in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics, which may include:

  • rejection of the manuscript;
  • retraction of a published article;
  • notification of the author’s affiliated institution;
  • prohibition of future submissions to the journal.

Conflict of Interest

All participants in the publication process (authors, reviewers, editors) are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the objectivity of the evaluation or the research outcomes.
