A social project is an innovation that aims to reform a certain sphere of social life, to solve issues/problems that are acute in society. The purpose of the article is to study the activities of social project managers based on the content and structure of their work. To do this, we will reveal the essence of the concepts of social design and social project; let's study the structure of the activity of the head of the social project. Establishing specific algorithms for project implementation and allocation of available resources is absolutely necessary for project implementation. Research and better understanding of methodological approaches to the development of social projects allows us to determine that an important condition is adaptability to changes. Therefore, the work of researchers is an important basis for further searches for effective tools and measures aimed at the effective implementation of social projects in conditions of dynamism and uncertainty. Social design is work that not only solves people's problems, but also improves living conditions and affects it in the future. The development and operation of social projects in society is of great importance for various aspects of society, designed to develop the community, improve its spheres of life, systems of educational, medical, environmental, labor, and cultural development. In the conditions of fierce competition on the socio-cultural market, the winner is not the strongest or the smartest, but the one who creates an innovative product faster, finds original solutions and offers them before others. It is the project activity that acts as a key tool for the development of this sphere, as it combines economic, cultural, socio-psychological, creative and technological factors.
The manager is the executor of all management functions in the project. In his work, he uses many methods and techniques to achieve an effective result. Key indicators of the manager's effective control are deadlines, finances, and quality performance. In the management of human resources, he should take care of the filling of the team, control over the performance of the duties assigned to its members, training and education of employees, organize recruitment (if necessary). In the process of working on the project, the manager manages the quality of work and risks that may occur at any step of the project. Project activity in the field of management of socio-cultural activities contributes to the development of creative and leadership potential, forms social skills and communicative culture. It also has psychological features: a high intellectual level of the subject area, dependence on the needs of the customer, individualization of services, rapid loss of relevance of results, the need to adapt to new tasks, demanding qualifications of specialists and high standards of communication and corporate culture.
