Welcome speech on the occasion of the opening of the scientific conference "The creative and pedagogical heritage of Emmanuel Mysko: the humanistic paradigm, professional liberty and methodology", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the prominent Ukrainian sculptor. The significant contribution of Emmanuel Mysko into the national artistic and pedagogical activity, its influence on the development of the art school of Lviv and Ukraine in general is investigated. The figure of the artist as a reformer, sculptor, leader, citizen is considered.
