Art image in Jewelery Arts of Ukraine XXI century

The article examines modern trends in Ukrainian jewelry. The unique creative path of artists of the XXI century: Stanislav Volsky, Lyudmila Komelkova, Irina Karpova, Yuri Kochubeyev and Taras Shalashny is traced. The advanced ideas in the work of these jewelers and the components of the author's manner are analyzed. An artistic method has been discovered that allows to consolidate new trends in fashion for decades - a combination of classic jewelry school and avant-garde. It turned out that the current trend is not jewelry, but the fight against stereotypes, which they demonstrate. This expanded the creative range of artists, which now covers the areas of "theater on the table", interior sculpture, lacquer miniatures. Not only jewelry, but also self-sufficient works of art characterize modern jewelry as innovative and progressive. Despite the activities of creative teams, a more important role in this belongs to independent artists-jewelers. The article analyzes floral images of S. Volsky. In particular, innovations in art form in the experimental combination of enamel and tempered glass. The direction of I. Karpova's "romantic avant-garde" is considered. Kochubeyev's most famous work is described - the interior sculpture "Scorpio". Information on the range of works, their affiliation to the museum fund "Contemporary Jewelry Art of Ukraine" is summarized. On the basis of the analysis of exhibition works it is found out that the modern direction of jewelry creativity is focused on experiment, instead of on the buyer. In its essence and forms of expression, it deserves the definition of "new jewelry art" or "actual art". Artistic image in the jewelry art of the XXI century. free from stereotypes, has a bright authorial character and innovative embodiment. Artists experiment with materials, expand the concept of jewelry with the help of painting and sculpture techniques. New images growing out of the classical school are embodied in an innovative form.
